An Important Update for Our Clients

We are deeply saddened to share that Bloomfield Animal Hospital will permanently close for business on September 9, 2026. The last day for appointments will be Friday, September 4, 2026.

With significant changes to our ability to staff the hospital and difficulties recruiting in the area, we have made the difficult decision to close Bloomfield Animal Hospital. We understand how sudden and difficult this news may feel, especially when your veterinary team plays such an important role in your pet’s care. Please know that we are working closely with our colleagues to help make this transition as smooth as possible and ensure you have a nearby option for your pet’s continued care.

If your pet has an appointment scheduled with us after September 4, a member of our team will contact you to discuss transferring the appointment to Hopmeadow Animal Hospital.

Requesting Medical Records

Prior to our Closing, if you would like a copy of your pet’s medical records, please email us at: bloomfieldah@yourvetdoc.com. We will email electronic copies within 3 to 5 business days. Physical records can be requested as well, but please allow additional time for processing

After September 9^th, if you choose not to continue care at Hopmeadow Animal Hospital, you can request your pet's complete medical records by emailing 2026BAHRecords@gmail.com

Please note that electronic copies will be emailed within 3 to 5 business days. Physical records can also be requested, though these may take longer to process.
