Annalise Halle
Veterinarian
Dr. Halle grew up in Willington, Connecticut, where she fell in love with animal care working at a local horse farm. She completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Science at the University of Connecticut, where she took part in Pre-Vet Club and volunteered as a dairy cattle herdsman.
During her time at UConn, Dr. Halle studied abroad in Ireland, learning how their dairy, fish, and kelp farming industries compare to those in the United States. She also worked with World Vets in Roatan, Honduras to provide medical care to exotic animals at a wildlife reserve.
Dr. Halle received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. During her time at Midwestern, she participated in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) events in an effort to vaccinate and manage the population of community cats in the Phoenix area. As Stress Management Program Coordinator, she developed mental wellness activities for first-year veterinary students. She also received a business certificate from the Veterinary Business Management Association.
In her free time, Dr. Halle loves traveling, hiking, and spending time with the love of her life Steven who is an Air Force pilot. She has an avid love of art, creating oil pastel, ceramics, and hand-made jewelry. She has worked in the veterinary field for six years and is looking forward to returning home to Connecticut and joining the Bloomfield Animal Hospital team.
